How It Started

This project began with a simple idea: could automation make it easier to raise support for shelters and help dogs find homes faster? I launched a fundraiser for a local shelter and wanted to test how technology could keep people more engaged and informed.

What I Built

I set up a system where updates about adoptable dogs could be shared automatically instead of posted manually. The automation also logged donations as they came in, creating a clear record without extra admin work. The first version was small, but it showed how automation could make fundraising more consistent and adoption information easier to share.

The Vision

In the future, this project could grow into a full system that not only raises money but also keeps adoption status, shelter needs, and community support up to date automatically. The goal is to give shelters more time for care and less time on admin work, while helping families connect with the right dogs more quickly.
